After years using Things, a new alternative has caught my attention as a task manager: Superlist.
The Context: Farewell to Wunderlist, Welcome Superlist
After years of anticipation, Superlist has finally entered the task manager market. This app is considered the spiritual successor to Wunderlist, the popular German app that was acquired and later discontinued by Microsoft.
At a critical moment during the 2020 lockdown, Microsoft decided to end Wunderlist, leaving many users in search of a new task management solution. Concurrently, Christian Reber, one of the original founders of Wunderlist, announced his plans to create a new app that would carry on the legacy of its predecessor.
Encountering Superlist: More Than Just Another Alternative
After a long wait, the time finally came to try Superlist. Although I initially had reservations due to the prolonged development period, this app has pleasantly surprised me.
Highlighted Features of Superlist
Superlist adopts a freemium model, offering a generous free plan along with premium options. Additionally, its design is one of its strong points, standing out for its simplicity and elegance.
