Elon Musk confirms that his company Neuralink has implanted its first chip in a human brain

Elon Musk, the technology billionaire, has confirmed on his social media that his company Neuralink has successfully implanted one of its chips, named Telepathy, in a human brain. News that has surprised many people, but it is not the first time something like this has happened, but it is the most mediatic of all for the owner of the company involved.
Many of you will be asking this question, and it is that the goal of Neuralink with the implantation of chips is to connect human brains to computers in order to help treat complex neurological diseases. With the Telepathy chip, it is intended to help patients with amputated limbs move their robotic prostheses by thought. The chip has been implanted in the part of the brain that plans movements, thus being able to interpret the neuronal activity of the wearer. Neuralink and the novelty of its implant is its bidirectionality, transmitting not only information from the brain to external devices, but also achieving that those data reach the brain.
